Eldritch Reckoning
A small game inspired by Vampire Survivors, made to learn the Godot engine.
Title screen music created by Ghost Roaster:
Defend yourself against a horde of angry cultists, leveling up and gaining upgrades as more enemies are slain. After a short time, the ritual will be complete and you'll have to defeat an otherworldly entity to save your life! Be careful, however, for as the stage progresses enemies will get stronger too. Play well, and you may just survive this Lovecraftian nightmare!
As mentioned above, this game was built to learn the Godot engine, so I'm not sure how much or how often I'll be updating it. Thanks for checking it out!
DISCLAIMER: Ignore the quit button on the title screen in the browser version, it's there for the windows executable. You'll likely have to reload the page if you click it while playing.

Not bad. I see that the game was updated a few days ago, so it is still a project in development. With a bit of adjustment in the HUD, adding SFX and music it would become much more enjoyable. Of course with more enemies, bosses or even more stages it would become much more amusing.
Thank you! I had originally planned for this to be a much larger and more fleshed out project at the start, but ran into burn out along the way, as well as picking up some other projects, so I've decided to come back to this when I feel inspired.
But I've got a list of a bunch of stuff that I would like to add when I've got the energy: sound effects, mini-bosses, UI updates, more upgrades, and some upgrade reworks, among other things.
Hoping to get around to it eventually, but this has definitely become a long term project that I return to when I want to work on something at my own pace (and that isn't a Hololive related project).
